Hong Kong Citygate Outlets

Citygate Outlets on Lantau Island (New Territories, Hong Kong) is located seriously near the Hong Kong International Airport, so it makes perfect sense to drop by on the way to or away from the airport. It's just a bus ride (S1, across the road from the bus terminal, you may not understand this, but you will when you are there) away and you can of course drag your luggage around or deposit it in the lockers at B2 and B3 (from $10-20/hr).

On top of the list of the must-visits include Coach, Kate Spade, Benetton, I.T. Outlet, but let's just say I just bought stuffs from Columbia (2 Polos), Crocos (!!! I stun even myself (2 Alices, one in Red and one in Blue) ), and tons of food (read: snacks) from TASTE supermarket. Kate Spade was selling wallets/bags at 50% but, super outdated (as expected at outlets), but more so, not to my liking. Imagine: Kate Spade wallets at HK$800 (under S$200)! Coach - mostly 4 digit prices. U.S. factory outlets, definitely cheaper. The Body Shop Outlet was really popular btw.

They do have a Singaporean food court at the top (3 levels only, haha), it's really Singaporean - Food Republic, yeap fresh concept, for Hong Kong that is.

Judging from my buys, you can tell gauge for yourself if it's worth a trip here. Only for those with infinitely deep pockets. Yah, and swipe cardS, because I doubt you'll carry thousand dollars bills around, whether it's the first or last day of your trip.
